Getting lots of physical activity: Aim for 60 minutes every day New paragraph
Ensuring we get enough rest
Aim for 9-12 hours rest. If you get enough rest you will have improved ability to learn, and overall your body and mind health will be better.
We will be focusing on a different aspect of healthy living each day. Here’s our weeks schedule:
Monday: Healthy eating sessions for each class: “Eating well for growing boys” Sugar table awareness display and task for home (label reading)
Tuesday: Importance of physical activity
Wednesday: Focus on vegetables: Soup tasting. Stay warm and get a portion of vegetables by trying some of tasty soup recipes. Click here for Soup Recipes
Thursday: Dental health session for each class: “Your Smile is Amazing”
Friday: Focus on physical activity: Sponsored walk (see Aladdin for further details). All monies raised will be toward activities for the boys such as drama workshops, art workshops and sports activities such as tennis.
Tuck shop: Focus on healthier snacks
